DOES IT COST TO PARK AT THE CASTLE?
The parking is free for castle guests. You just have to provide your registration plate number at the reception.
For other visitors, parking costs 20 SEK per hour and is easiest paid via the Parkster app. Area code and more information can be found on signs at the parking area.
CAN I CHARGE MY ELECTRIC CAR AT HÄRINGE?
If you have an electric car - plug in your cable into the car and charging post, note the post number, and come up to the reception to get the correct area code for the Parkster app.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO STAY IN THE CASTLE BUILDING?
We do not have hotel rooms in the castle building. However, if you stay in Sjöflygeln, there is an underground passage to the castle - so you don't have to go outdoors!

DO I NEED TO BOOK A TABLE?
We always recommend booking a table. It makes us very sad to decline guests due to the restaurant being full.
ARE YOU DOG-FRIENDLY?
Yes, we are a dog-friendly castle, and dogs are also welcome in the restaurant. However, dogs must be pre-registered at the time of booking.

DOG POLICY
Dogs must be leashed during the stay and are not welcome at the breakfast buffet or allowed to swim in the pool. We are unable to accommodate female dogs in heat at Häringe and reserve the right to reject dogs in heat. Dogs cannot participate in evening events such as Murder Mystery Dinners and Ghost Tours but are welcome in hotel rooms.
Dogs are welcome in selected dining areas. Our dog-friendly hotel buildings are: Sjöflygeln, Västra Flygeln, and Wenner-Grens Paviljong.
We are unable to accomodate cats.
IS THE POOL FILLED FOR THE SEASON?
The pool is filled in May and emptied sometime around October.
CAN YOU COME FOR THE DAY AND SWIM IN THE POOL?
No, the castle pool can only be used by overnight hotel guests.
The entire party must be staying at the hotel.
I BOOKED A HOTEL ROOM, CAN I COME BEFORE CHECK-IN AND USE THE POOL?
Yes, you have access to the pool from 13:00 on the day of arrival until 12:00 on the day of departure.
The pool is closed between 12:00-13:00.
HOW HOT IS THE POOL?
The pool is heated by the sun, so it maintains a temperature similar to that of the sea. Poolen värms upp av solen, så den håller ungefär samma temperatur som havet.
CAN I BRING A FLOATIE TO THE POOL?
No, it is not possible to have any inflatable pool toys in the pool.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RESERVE SUN LOUNGES?
No, it's not possible to reserve sun lounges.
DO YOU HAVE AC IN THE HOTEL ROOMS?
No, we can't offer air-conditioning - but there are fans in every hotel room.
WAS THE TV-PROGRAM "FÖRRÄDARNA/THE TRAITORS" RECORDED AT HÄRINGE SLOTT?
Yes, that's correct! If you look into the Upper Gothic Parlor, you can find a mask and cloak left behind by one of the traitors.
CAN I USE THE CASTLE'S SAUNA PIER?
Häringe's bathing pier is unfortunately not suitable for boats. Therefore, it is not possible to moor at the pier. If you can anchor in Landfjärden and row ashore with a smaller boat, that is acceptable. Otherwise, the pier is reserved for guests who have booked the sauna.
CAN WE CHECK IN EARLIER THAN 3PM (15.00)?
No, unfortunately this is not possible. But we can offer you the opportunity to book an extra night at a special price!
WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR PRIVATE STAYS?
- Cancellation of accommodation and breakfast can be done until 6:00 PM (18.00) the day before arrival.
- Cancellation of stay packages (accommodation and dinner) can be made up to 4 days before arrival (6:00 PM/18.00).
- Cancellation of stay packages for Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations can be made up to 14 days before arrival (6:00 PM).
For cancellations later than this, the full package will be charged.
Bookings made via online booking:
Cancellation through website / through the link in the confirmation mail.
Bookings made via mail:
Cancellation should be done in writing, and you will receive a confirmation email from us.
Restaurant reservations:
Cancellations via The Fork must be made at least 24 hours before arrival.
WHEN IS THE BOOKING OPEN?
Our booking is open on weekdays excluding holidays, from 08:00 to 17:00.
Outside of these hours, we refer you to our website, where you can find answers to most questions and get the best rates on accommodation.
