Here, kings, performers, and business magnates have concocted antics for hundreds of years - there is an endless source of stories. Many of the artifacts, champagne holes in the ceilings, and secret liquor storages in the walls are still present.

We have one of Sweden's oldest bowling lanes, in its original condition from the 1930s. The bowling balls have only two holes, and the ball return is mechanical. But, just like in the 1930s, you take turns setting up the pins.

Next to the tennis court in the apple orchard, there are six boules courts. Additionally, you can play croquet almost anywhere, in the castle park next to the pool or in the apple orchard, for example. A very popular outdoor activity during the summer!
When the pool was built in the 1930s, it was Sweden's very first outdoor pool with Olympic dimensions. Torsten Kreuger was so fond of the pool that, amusingly, he had a slide built from one of the castle's windows so he could take a morning plunge. Unfortunately, Marguerite Wenner-Gren found it to be very childish, so when she and Axel moved in, it was torn down.
Today, the pool is a source of enjoyment for the castle's overnight guests who want to cool off after a hot summer day. Why not start the day with a refreshing morning swim?
The pool is 1 meter deep at its shallowest and 1.75 meters at its deepest. It is heated by the sun and is essentially sea-temperature.
*The pool is only open for swimming in the summer and is emptied during the fall and winter. The pool can only be used by overnight hotel and conference guests
There are several different running routes that go through the beautiful nature reserve. They range from 3 km to 7 km and start right next to the castle. Of course, it's just as good for a walk on the forest trails. In the middle of the 7-kilometer loop, there is a small path leading up to a viewpoint. Up there on the hill, you can gaze out over the sea and numerous archipelago islands
