For us, it's natural to be environmentally friendly. Here are a few things we do to ensure you can enjoy a green, pleasant hotel night.

We have no single-use packaging in the bathrooms. Only luxurious products from Maria Åkerberg in pump bottles.

The castle and all wings are heated with geothermal energy.

We filter and carbonate our restaurant and conference water on-site, reducing transport by 100 trips per year.

We serve a lot of locally produced food and use seasonal ingredients. We also emphasize using the whole ingredients to minimize food waste.

When renovating, we mix new furniture with finds from attics and antique shops. Any furniture we no longer need is donated to charity so someone else can enjoy them.
